Memorandum
To: Brunswick Community College Board of Trustees, Faculty, Staff, Administration, and Curriculum Students
From: Brandon C. Schindewolf, Student Government Association Vice President

Subject: 2007-2008 Student Government Association Executive Council Election Results
The results of the Student Government Association elections for the 2007-2008 academic year are as follows:
Student Government Association President-elect:
Michelle Secrest
Student Government Association Vice President-elect:
Jessica Coronado
Student Government Association Secretary-elect:
Jayne Todd
The term for the 2007-2008 SGA Executive Council (consisting of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Parliamentarian, the latter two of which shall be chosen from the remaining election candidates) begins on July 1, 2007.
Students who are interested in applying to be Student Senators for the 2007-2008 academic year should speak to their academic advisors. Two Student Senators (one active, one backup) should be chosen from each BCC program of study (e.g. Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, Cosmetology, Nursing, et al.).
Thank you to all the participants in this election process. For the first time in three years, the Student Government Association has been able to hold true elections, which have produced candidates chosen by the student body. This is a proud accomplishment both in participation and in a commitment to the democratic process.
Brandon C. Schindewolf
Vice President, Student Government Association
2006-2007
