Question: I have three possible connections to the internet from where I can get a port 80(http) request.
The request gets dnat-ted to a http server in the DMZ. Nww when the http server on the DMZ replies, how will it reply? via its default nat rule..as in...
i have a nat rule that says anything coming in from the dmz should be snatted to a single ip?
Even though i have only one rule to snat will my http server reply via the path teh request came in?
or
do i need to and can i have a nat rules like
$IPTABLES -t nat -A Cid4609C1084311.0 -o eth4 -j SNAT --to-source x.x.x.x
$IPTABLES -t nat -A Cid4609C1084311.0 -o eth2 -j SNAT --to-source y.y.y.y
$IPTABLES -t nat -A Cid4609C1084311.0 -o eth3 -j SNAT --to-source z.z.z.z
what i am trying to achieve is if a request comes in on conenction x.x.x.x, the dmz server should reply via that connection and dnat to that ip...
and like wise if it come in through y.y.y.y and z.z.z.z it should reply via y.y.y.y and z.z.z.z respectively.
Is this possible?
