Another problem I recently wanted to play UT2004 that install went smoothy but when I started it the splash screen came up then dissapeared. With a bit of googling it seemed to be that i had no graphics drivers so I followed the instructions on http://www.fedorafaq.org/#radeon however it still doesnt work. When I try to go to ATI settings I get the error "Driver does not support the FireGL X11 extensions! Panel components will operate only partially." Have I just not installed something I need or have I set it up wrong?
