Anthony,
I'd like to say, first off, that I think you are doing a wonderful job as EC. To be honest it can be a thankless job, with many demands and close scrutiny. I think you're doing well on all fronts.
I have just one comment that I'd like to offer. As the election draws near to finality, and the final days of voting are upon us, I would implore you to stay on top of keeping the endorsements lists up to date.
I mention this for a few reasons. One is that, as those members of the club who are not vigilant in reading the ES ship, but merely check it 'now and then' to stay atop the major issues and to eyeball the toteboard for the general feel of the election, it is crucial to keep the info as up to date as possible.
Another reason to do this is for the tickets to be able to capture the vote of the straggler or even the vote of the member who is undecided or on the edge. Their seeing the endorsement count may help them to get a feel for the general climate of the club's opinion or mood. If they see the endorsement list, and the names of who made them, and see that it is leaning toward one ticket or the other, they may be tempted to vote merely on that factor alone.
For these reasons, and many others, I request that you update the toteboard to show the proper count as often as possible, ideally daily, for the last few days of voting. As it is now, one ticket is not reflecting four endorsements made, and that may be the difference between a deciding vote.
As I said above, I believe you are dong a wonderful job in the EC role, I do not envy the amount of work or the stress that goes with it. I am merely offering a suggestion. Thank you for hearing me, and allowing me your time.
