-The Removal of Pest Control (PC)-

I mean this to be a legitimate suggestion. so before you throw this off and decide to flame me, please read the entirety of this topic.

From speculation, the true intent of PC was to give a challenging, somewhat fun, minigame with a little extra experience points as an added bonus. It was not meant to be done in 30 seconds, or to be used solely for the purpose of gaining experience en masse. However, that is exactly what it's become. The challenge of the game is gone, hence giving unprecedented amounts of experience to players.

Before PC came into existence, it was a challenge to "Max out" your melee stats. People had truly worked hard for what they received. A level 110 was a rare sight, and it was an honor to talk to them. Now, somebody can spend two months at PC and become something another person spent a year, perhaps longer, achieving. The high scores now littered with people who didn't have to work long, or work hard for their placement. I don't know about you, but to me it isn't fair.

So my suggestion is the complete, and total removal of PC.

Not surprisingly many questions will most likely arise from such a radical move. I'll try my best to answer the most obvious questions as well.

What of people who have many points?
I think it'd be best for a 2 day warning to be given before the removal. This way they could earn or spend their last points. If they fail to spend their points, it's their loss.

What of people who own Void Knight Armor?
Void Knight Armor is untradeable, therefore it would have no adverse effects on the economy. It'd be similiar to a Runescape Holiday Drop.

PC is the only place I trained, what now?
This is what Runescape should be known for. A vast amount of training regions, and possibilities. You can train slayer, or find great drops. You could just explore the exponentially growing landscape of Runescape. There's so much more outside of PC that I think is covered in shadows due to PC.

In conclusion, I know there would be some negative effects, but there positive would overwhelm the negative. So I ask you to truly consider this, and think what it would do for you, and your fellow gamers.
