ACP Technologies is looking for a full time energetic, self-motivated IT Network/Support Engineer to add to our growing team for the Buffalo, NY and outlying areas. This is a position that has extreme growth potential based on performance.
ACP is a rapidly growing IT Solutions firm that partners with companies that have none or little IT support.
ACP is looking for a highly motivated, self-starter who enjoys working with varies clients to overcome technical hurdles and use technology to increase the profitability of their businesses. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining local and wide area networks primarily on the Microsoft Platform. This position requires excellent communication, customer service and documentation skills. As much of your time (up to 90%) will be spent dealing with end-users or individuals at our clients locations.
Windows desktop and server platforms, including Windows 2000/2003 Server, Windows NT, Windows XP Pro, Windows 2000 Pro, Windows NT4.0 Workstation, and Windows ME/98/95.
Windows 2000/2003 Small Business Server
Experience with Microsoft Terminal Server
Microsoft Exchange Server
Veritas Backup Exec 9x and later.
Trend Anti Virus Suites
Firewalls/Routers/Switches
Desktop and Server Hardware
You are:
Excellent at communicating with end-users/management/IT staff members of other companies.
Looking forward to not working in the same environment day in and day out.
Working with other members within Technical Support to ensure complete and timely resolution of customer questions and issues, and to complete any necessary follow-up on resolution.
Can suggest or notify sales staff of opportunities
Willing to do regional traveling on a daily basis (typically within Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse)
Willing to work occasional nights and weekends.
You must have:
Minimum 1 years experience hands on experience with the above technologies.
Brilliant Troubleshooting Skills.
Puts the customer first; builds great relationships with customers.
Strong Communication Skills.
Works effectively in an unstructured environment with limited supervision
The desire to work in a challenging environment in which no two days are alike!
Nice, personable, friendly attitude
Great Technical Aptitude
Must be able to express your ideas in writing: design documents, documentation, etc.

Have the ability to lift boxes that can weigh up to 75 pounds.
