The diagram below shows a general view of Coast to Coast Inc.’s with the two sites in Victoria and St. John’s

              West OFFICE ________ East OFFICE
              56 SUBNETS 7 SUBNETS
Instructions

•	Developing an IP addressing scheme for the east office
The East Office site consists of 7 network subnets with the number of hosts as indicated in the table below.

Subnet	Number of Hosts
A	25
B	20
C	22
D	28
E	25
F	4
G 5

A decision has already been made to use private addressing on the internet LAN of the East Office and your boss wants you to use a single class C address and implement subnetting to accommodate all 7 subnets

1.1.1	Chose an appropriate valid private IP address for the LAN
__192.168.0.1-254__

1.2	Consider assigning a single subnet mask for the whole LAN
1.2.1	If a single subnet mask is used, what will it have to be to allow enough subnet address space for all the 7 subnets and as much address space for the host addresses as possible(Note: assume zero-subnets cannot be used)
	___27___
1.2.2	What is the maximum number of hosts each subnet will be able to accommodate?
__30__
1.2.3	why does this subnet mask not provide a viable addressing solution?
__not possible to get 7 subnets using the given information__
