Hello, my name is Brandon max. My reason for filling out this application is so I can help other GameSurge users. Why would I want to help out other people? One reason is that when I was new to GameSurge, I remember I had no one to help me. I want to change that so people do not need to struggle to figure out how to become familiar with the network.
I also use to be a support helper on Gamesurge for about a month or maybe even two. I'f I remeber correctly the requirements were 4 hours a week and 40 in #support and 25 in #registration. I use to get atleast 8 or 10 hours in a week with 300 and above so what I am trieing to say here is that I am a and still will be a very dedicated Support helper.
I am very good with Srvx. I know Most I wouldn't say all because I am not sure of them all but I do know most of Chanserv Commands and opserv commands. I am only good with Srvx Mostly because I sit and help in #help, #gamesurge but also because I run my own irc network with nefarious and srvx it is not a big one maybe with only about 5 people. My Irc network is mostly for testing purposes to sharpen my skills for becoming a support helper on GameSurge.
Another reason is that I want to give back to the community. Whenever I talk to a staff member, or visit #Registration and #support, I am always helped right away. I want to do the same for others. I am always helping in #Help and #script - I am extremely experienced in mIRC scripting, so I always help others with that. In #Help I try to help as many people as possible. I am also an Administrator of #Betabots which is a very popular channel bot service. I am now currently helping in #scriptclass to teach the gamesurge users mIRC Scripting So that way I can put my scripting skills to some use.
When Working in #help I usually get hundreds of compliments from people about how fast I answer there question, Or how well I work with them. It just makes me feel good enough that I should apply to be a GameSurge support helper. I am very friendly with the users when helping them I do not get mad or upset when they do not get the question or how to do it right away so I have alot of patients for people and helping them. I know the AUP very well and usually hold people agaisnt it if they do something on it for example when they advertise in a channel they do not have access to I usually first give them a link to the aup and tell them what they did wrong second time I usually kick them with a little message. I always follow the aup no matter what in any situation and thats what makes me better at helping people.
