[12:39:14] <enouf> fjp: and friends; AFAICT, we have a (legitimate) issue with the Etch netinstaller .. we've been pm'ing each other, and I've come up with that ; he hits an error right after the lang + country + keymap selections (Default boot, TUI, no GUI), and the error is ""No kernel modules were found"" .. though supposedly he can alt-f4 and see that the cdrom is recognized and reading (only one system optical drive) .. here's the AM2 mobo by ASUStek
[12:39:33] <enouf> ... http://www.asus.com/products4.aspx?modelmenu=1&model=1375&l1=3&l2=101&l3=349
