There were no problems when we conducted the experiment we used a piece of paper to catch any glucose that might spill over the weighing beaker. The glucose in the weighing beaker was exactly 10g we neutralised the weight of the paper and the beaker first. When transferring between beakers we could have left behind tiny amount of glucose but we made sure we got it all by using distilled water to get everything out. A more accurate balance would have improved the experiments accuracy by weighing to 4 decimal places.
