1. Create a new empty Java Plug-In Project test.deps.plugin.
2. Add one of the more unusual plugins as a dependency (e. g. org.eclipse.gef)
3. Create a new feature project test.deps.feature that includes test.deps.plugin.
4. Create a new empty Plug-In Project test.deps.product
5. Create a new Product Configuration in the .product plugin
6. Enter an arbitrary Product Name.
7. Create a new Product ID, choosing org.eclipse.ide.workbench as application.
8. Switch the product configuration from plugin-based to feature-based.
9. Open the Configuration page and add test.deps.feature to the list of features.
10. Run the export wizard with the default settings.
11. Examine the generated output files. In the plugins/ folders, only the test.deps.plugin_1.0.0.jar is present. No sign of the GEF plugin.
