"I get an error : 'system configuration not matching your evolution configuration' after build,so evolution does not starts after build" - How to overcome this error?
Main cause of this error - all references of your OS, is now on the Evolution installed in the system and not the evolution that was Built now== Solution:1) Edit /etc/bonobo-activation/bonobo-activation-config.xml and add <item> Ur Prefix(say, /opt/evo) /lib/bonobo/servers/</item> within <searchpath> tags, log-off and log-on, Evolution will work.

2) Add the following path in .jhbuildrc export BONOBO_ACTIVATION_PATH="/PREFIX/lib/bonobo/servers:/opt/gnome/lib/bonobo/servers"
--ranjan 12:30, 17 Jan 2006 (IST)
3)After all the modules of evolution built successfully, to get the updated version into your system, give the following commands in the terminal,(i.e, in username@linux:~),
i) jhbuild shell
ii) pkill evo
iii) pkill bonobo
iv) export BONOBO_ACTIVATION_PATH=/PREFIX/lib/bonobo/servers/
v) /PREFIX/bin/evolution-2.6
A evolution window will be displayed now, Goto Help->About and checkout the version, it should be Evolution 2.6.0
