Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'
[MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver]Can't connect to MySQL server on '65.111.222.19' (10048)
just randomly it'll do this
sometimes half through a page load, it does that and displays nothing else
sometimes beginning of the page load, the db is opened/closed a few times depending on what page is loaded
sometimes not at all
i've changed the odbc driver
i upgraded to mysql 5.0 this morning
tried permissions settings on the odbc
downgraded odbc driver
changed odbc driver settings
changed mysql settings, max user limits etc
disabled firewalls on both machines
rebooted servers both the iis server and the mysql server (both are seperate machines)
all to no avail
the server does not die, it does not restart
i now have mydobc 3.51.12-2, mysql 5.0-nt
web server is windows 2000 server running iis5
asp/vbscript code to open the database is as follows
