Welcome to Omeo, new arrival. I trust you'll find your life here to be a rewarding one, as the rest of us have. Here in Omeo, we all work towards a central commune, and each of us, as citizens, is rewarded with the benefits of such a system.

In order for the commune to grow the most effectively, every citizen works as decided by the Director. What they work on will be based on what they are good at, what they like doing, and what the Director feels is most needed for Omeo to prosper.

After reading this note, you should introduce yourself, and try to become familiar with the other faces in Omeo. And in addition to this note, you should read the laws to be sure that you do not get yourself in trouble in your early days here as an Omeo citizen, as many confused people might find themselves doing.

Also, one of the first things you should do upon spawning is to find out your skills. This is accomplished by working on projects, and then looking at yourself to see if you are a awkward, or an expert, or something in between. You should try projects of the farming variety, digging, or the construction of buildings. When you have compiled a list of your skills, you should hand it to the Director. He will direct you towards what you should begin work on, and equip you as necessary. Be sure to either work on the project started by an official, or make sure you place the collected resources in the public storage facility.

Lastly, be sure to let the people of Omeo know any ideas you have for the prosperity of our home, or what sort of things would interest you, as a citizen, to have. The Director can only work towards the goals of the people if he is fully knowledged in what they are. I am sure, with your help, Omeo will become even greater a town.
