Something

Each year, far from prying eyes
pumpkins and turkeys gleefully dies,
a battle where there can be no ties,
in a contest of daring and might.

Pirates and ninjas rivaly is legend,
even now the outcome is uncertain.
Our brave pumpkins face a dead end,
for them this is the final curtain.
