I downloaded intltool0.35. it was an rpm package.
so i tried
#rpm -i intltool0.35.src.rpm
it was installed in an irrelevant folder.
so i copied it to /usr/share (autoconf, automake, libtool were all there)
the error when i tried ./autogen was
