I agree. Whats so wrong with a rar? plus reposting EXACT SAME files that are packed differently is nonsense. I know its allowed but cannot see why. Just forces me to unrar and seed 2 instances of the same torrent. *sigh*

Why do people moan about the RARs? If people had any sense they'd download the RAR release, unrar the .avi from the rars, and then seed both the rars and normal

I fail to see what all the bitching is about. if you don't want the rar version, don't download it, it's pretty simple. they're not breaking any rules...
according to the faq:

it was voted on long ago and like 99% of people decided they would like avi's posted rather than RARs

simple solution: then just don't dl the RAR version.
there are plenty other sites that have 0day RARs
this is BitMeTV . We are diffrent from them.
if you want RARs then go to those other places.

To unrar via ssh isn't it rar x filename or something similar? It's built into most servers.

anyone can fxp a release from one server to another and do a maketorrent... put some time into it, unrar, make a proper description.
Mindless, if you are serious about wanting to help upload 0day releases here then you should get on IRC and let us help you learn to UNRAR. ... we really don't bite.... too hard.
