How-to setup your (home) network
There are a few decisions you would have to make when choosing the right home network for you. The most important decision and factor in this project is going to be the actual cost that you want to spend. Another factor would have to be the size of the area/coverage you want to provide access to, throughout the house
There are so many options out there that you would be able to choose when you are planning to setup a home network. If you are willing to spend a little bit more money and improve the design of a network at home, you would lean towards investing in a Wireless network. But if youre in a fixed budget and you would only have very few dollars to be spent on your personal network, cost would start you off at as cheap as $20 CDN for a wired network setup (for a really small network). Of course the cost to have a dialup modem monthly internet service would be up to the consumer itself. If you were to spend the extra little money, you would be able to enjoy the luxury of Hi-Speed/Lite-Speed.
Its time to decide if you are going to choose to go wireless be prepared to shell out a few extra dollars if you want the whole facility/area to have coverage or if you will designate only a section of the location to be used for wireless access. The consumer must decide if the extra cost of a wireless network is worth the convenience and deploying a wired network is feasible for the consumer's skill set.
Now if you were to choose a wired network setup. Some advantages would have to be that you would have a more stable network operating at full speed as opposed to wireless which would have some stability issues (possibly). Network speeds achievable with the wired network connection would be higher than the wireless connection that a wireless network would be operating on.
If you were to install a network at a facility/location, you would have to put in consideration the following factors, choice of speed, connectivity and stability.
