I am having some hardware failures on my Mail server and I will need to replace the Motherboard. I need to move my QMR install to a temporary server while I rebuild the Mail Server. The current server has Fedora Core 2 on it and the temp one has Fedora Core 6. What would I need to do to move everything to my temp server? Do I need to run through the install on the temp server and then move files over? I need this to be as seamless as possible to my users. After I rebuild the Mail Server I could also use some direction in starting over from scratch as the QMR install is out date.

One thing you shouldn't do is use any of the Fedora Core distributions. GO with CentOS for a much more stable server all the way around.

A. Someones opinion about their distro.
ya know I could go on a HUGE rant about how great my distro is but I
am not. I find it to be quite rude when someone says "One thing you
shouldn't do is use any of the Fedora Core distributions. GO with
CentOS for a much more stable server all the way around". Ya know
thats just your opinion. If you want to offer it as a suggestion but
don't say its the best or you'll just get flamed from all over.
