Myrhene says “why do you say, friends? Do the Athenians really need celebrations? I want most of all to watch it, you, Melissa, and do you want to watch? But it is not possible, for the man is difficult, for he often works, and rarely wishes to go to the city.

Melissa says “but father isn’t very difficult, for it is easy to persuade him.” And Myrhene says “don’t talk anymore non-sense, but fill the water jar quickly, for it is time to return home.”

The mother and the daughter quickly fill the water jar, and they walk home. Melissa stumbles on the road and drops the water to the ground and breaks it. She groans and says “Alas! I am not responsible for this, for it is a large water jar and isn’t possible to carry it.” And the mother says “why do you say this, daughter? Don’t talk nonsense but hurry home and carry the other water jars.

The Melissa hurries home, and Myrhene walks slowly, for the jar is big, and Myhrene doesn’t want to drop it.
