IrcMods job would have to be, Moderating and dealing with users.. This means, Dealing with complaints, About other users Ect. Spam,Abuse,Keylogger Sites..
Also in the job title they would have to deal with Sileceing people,
Silencing ------
A ircMods Could silenece a user up to 24 hours. No More, IrcMods Can not Akill users, if you need a auto kill you would have to contact a ircop. Silenicing would only come in to effect if the offender has proof against him of spamming,abuse,Spamming,Ect.
Proof ----
If IrcMods can look into logs, this would help greatly - Screenshots would be fine. anyway of making sure there is proof.
Also, If its possible ircMods can lock rooms? over poweing user if this room is causing trouble a ircmo can only lock a total of 2 rooms a day,
This is just a quick write up, IrcMods would have limtetd access to irc network, nothing like ircops. IrcMods would not be entiled to a vhost, only if the ircop would like to give them one,,
This would help Ircops greatly, ircops main job is to deal with servers keep them running all the complaints are a downfall and take there time up to concertrate on servers.
