Understanding Child development and the psychology of a growing mind is key when studying how their memories influence the adult mind.
Sigmund Freud remarked that children harbor “an unsuspected wealth of meaning... concealed behind their apparent innocence.” From this we can draw that childhood memories, while as they are happening can be innocent, will have meaning far beyond the realization of the child while they are having the experience. The memories will actually shape the child in a way that will determine how that they will behave and interact with society. This can be shown by addressing their backgrounds, childhood, upbringing, and reflections.
