ruby1.8 (1.8.2-9) unstable; urgency=high
On ix86 architecutre, $LOAD_PATH is changed as follows:
/usr/local/lib/site_ruby/1.8
/usr/local/lib/site_ruby/1.8/i486-linux
/usr/local/lib/site_ruby
/usr/lib/ruby/1.8
/usr/lib/ruby/1.8/i486-linux
.
This change is brought to follow the change of dpkg 1.13. It changed
architecture name to "i486-linux-gnu" from "i386-linux".
If you locally build extension libraries, please rebuild it with this
version of ruby1.8-dev package.
NOTE: In this version, ruby1.8 temporally searches files in
/usr/local/lib/site_ruby/1.8/i386-linux and /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/i386-linux.

installed.

vim (1:6.3-068+4) unstable; urgency=medium
* The kvim patch is unmaintained and has some annoying bugs, so we decided
to remove the kvim packages from Debian.

alsa-base (1.0.9b-3) unstable; urgency=low
As of this release, /etc/init.d/alsa no longer stores or restores
mixer levels. The /etc/init.d/alsa-utils init script now performs
that function.

aspell (0.60.3-5) unstable; urgency=low
The Debian aspell package now contains a "debctrl" filter to make it
easier to spell-check package descriptions. It filters out control
:
easier to spell-check package descriptions. It filters out control
fields so that only the long description part is checked. To enable
it, run "aspell --mode=debctrl check ..." or "aspell -D check ..."

aspell (0.60.3-2) unstable; urgency=low
This release begins a transition to support building the dictionary
binary hashes at install-time. As part of the transition, the
location aspell looks for dictionaries has changed from
/usr/lib/aspell-0.60 to /usr/lib/aspell, and thus all dictionary
packages need to be rebuilt.
For dictionary package maintainers wishing to rebuild their packages
immediately to support this aspell, you should make your dictionaries
provide aspell6a-dictionary and depend upon aspell (>= 0.60.3-2) (and
not libaspell15c2--see #310590).
For more patient dictionary package maintainers, you may wish to hold
off rebuilding your package until auto-building the binary hashes is
fully supported in hopefully a few days. See the
dict-common-dev@lists.alioth.debian.org mailing list for progress of
dict-common-dev@lists.alioth.debian.org mailing list for progress of
this support.

clamsmtp (1.3-0) unstable; urgency=low
In the interest of least privilege security, a new system user and
group was created for clamsmtp. The clamav-daemon user, clamav, was
added to the clamsmtp group, allowing the daemon to view the files
in the quarantine directory.

clamsmtp (1.2-2) unstable; urgency=low
The semantics for fixing directory permissions has been changed, and now only
applies to fixing older version of this package. The "fix" has moved out of
the init.d script to the postinst script. New debconf translations have been
added.

udev (0.060-1) unstable; urgency=low
* Kernels older than 2.6.12 are not fully supported anymore, and if
used will cause a little delay in the processing of some events.
udev users are advised to update to 2.6.12 as soon as possible.
* Starting with this release udev will always be used as the hotplug
multiplexer even with kernels older than 2.6.10. Using udev with
these old kernels will break firmware loading for some drivers.
* All rules are applied now, but only the first matching NAME attribute
will be considered. It may be needed to add OPTIONS="last_rule" to
custom rules to restore the precedent behavior.
* The rules keys now support more operations, as documented in the
man page. Rules which previously used "=" to add a value to a
list-like variable should be changed to use "+=".
* Support for /etc/dev.d/ and /etc/hotplug.d/ multiplexing has been
removed from udev. Compatibility support is provided by some helper
programs started by RUN rules in hotplugd.rules.
