Name of topic: What is an academic essay?
Purpose for selecting the topic: Writing an essay at an academic level was chosen mainly so I can better understand what is involved in writing in this form. At the same time helping others see my discovered insights.
Audience: This essay is aimed at everyone who wishes to learn about the different aspects of academic essay writing.
Thesis Statement: An academic essay is any writing done in an educational environment. It involves analyzing and evaluating of other pieces of written work.
Method Statement: Using this form encourages the writer to critically research the chosen material. A well rounded academic essay will be the result.
