FC6 Fixes

fc6 issues with dvd upgrade from fc5

1. i586 kernel installed erroneously                           - FIXED

   uninstalled i586 & installed i686 kernel from dvd

   rpm -e kernel
   rpm -ivh <i686 kernel>

2. audacious no mp3                                            - FIXED

   audacious-extras needed for mp3 etc

   yum install audacious-extras

**********************************************************************

3. xchat 2.6.8 fc5 from www.xchat.org not working              - FIXED 

   installed fc6 2.6.6 from core

   rpm -e xchat
   yum install xchat

**********************************************************************

4. gnome session manager sudo firestarter startup fscked    - TEMP FIX

   edited /etc/security/console.apps/firestarter
   changed user to gordboy

   added "firestarter --start-hidden" to gnome session startup

**********************************************************************

5. ntfs driver not ready yet                                - TEMP FIX

   waiting for ntfs.org (used livna for now)

**********************************************************************

6. freshrpms fc6 mplayer sound fscked                       - TEMP FIX

   back to freshrpms fc5 & extras lzo fc5

   rpm -e --nodeps mplayer
   rpm -e lzo
   rpm -ivh <extras fc5 lzo>
   rpm -ivh <freshrpms fc5 mplayer>

   edited /etc/yum.conf
   added lzo & mplayer to excludes for now

   edited /etc/yumex.conf
   added lzo & mplayer to excludes for now

7. adobe acrobat reader fscked                              - TEMP FIX

   edited /usr/bin/acroread
   commented out call to "check_gtk_ver_and_set_lib_path" line 644.
