<Hunterkll> you have /usr/pkg/foo and it symlinks to whatever you want.. /usr/pkg/foo-1.1 etc, each version is installed in it's own verison named dir

<Hunterkll> note, however, that each package is actually delivered as a physical tar, and not a tar file, so you are required to have a compatable tape drive in order to install any packages
