The WWW2012 is the most famous web conference in the world. This year, the conference will take place in Lyon, France, from April 16th to 20th. A lot of web specialists will take part in order to present their last works and discoveries on posters. The goal of the application is to help people finding more informations about the posters and authors, using a QRCode system. The user will be able, using the full web application (which is by the way a proof-of-concept for the conference), to flash QRCodes, and get more informations like the abstract in PDF file or everything about the author. Every poster will get tags, so the user can navigate between unseen posters and discover new stuff. But that’s not the only use of tags : with the web application, users can talk in chatrooms with everyone, including the author if he’s available and connected. There will be a lot of different chatrooms, from HTML5 to Web Semantic, etc... One more thing, just for fun : the “pipotron”. It’s based on keywords people took a lot at : it basically makes a topic sentence between two users (from their tags).
