I let Nicole go at 4:15 and kept Kevin, Shannon and Amanda to close. I was trying to show Kevin and Shannon the ropes of counting out the cash drawers but I got a little overwhelmed with explaining it all to them so we ended up staying a little late. I didn't anticipate how time-consuming training them to count out the drawers would be. Kevin and Shannon each counted out a drawer - Shannon's (reg 2, I think) was over 4 dollars but Jasmine was also ringing on that register. There were customers in the store as late as 5:20 and I sent Kevin and Shannon home at 5:45 after they were done with their drawers. Amanda and I stayed until 6 counting the third drawer and closing up. Sorry if the floor is a bit of a mess, with the late customers and counting out we didn't get a chance to do a walkthrough.
Just wanted to let you know what was up with the hours. I didn't want you to think we were milking the clock or anything like that. :) I hope I didn't keep anyone too long.
