(I have no tumblr) okay, so there's this girl, right? And we were good friends for a long time, but she was with this guy. Then she wasn't, but everything was going all hectic, and besides, she didn't seemed ready for a new relationship yet. Then we kind of lost contact for a while. Anyways, so I asked her out, or at least, I think it was, I'm not sure how she saw it. I spent most of the time not even being able to think of anything to say... You know how it is. And I was thinking about maybe the arm on the shoulder but she was leaning as far away as possible, and But anyways, by the end of it, we were talking pretty freely, and everything was going great.
After a bit, I asked her out again, things went about as swimmingly, though I chickened out for anything more forward than the occasional eyelock, but even that couldn't seem to maintain.
then she got sickish for a long while, and all I could/can get out of her was/is very short, almost curt responses.
I think she might be at least neutral to the idea. Some things lead to her being interested (always smiling, showing up in places, not to mention several hugs, plus I think she may have the same problem about coming up with things to say to each other as I do) but others make it look like she wants no part of me, and would like nothing more but for me to stop these shenanigans.
She's a really nice girl, really smart, very pretty, funny, we have a lot of the same interests, and I'd really like to be with her more...
So, what do you think, doc, Should I continue, or just bugger off?
