With all the shit that's going on, I think it might not be a bad idea to reinstitute a War Council or some such thing. It seems there are a few types of players now: competitive scrimmers, casual scrimmers, and casual gamers. Perhaps red and bud (if he comes back) can head the war council and name the members of the clan who will be on the "official" competition team. So, if there is an official competitive scrim, these guys play. But if its just a friendly match, some of the other members should be given a chance to play, as well. Of course, the casual guys can also organize themselves to play in some friendly matches, but that's another topic.

Perhaps this may even foster some healthy competition within the clan. Maybe we use a ladder system where members can challenge someone above them to move up in the war council hierarchy. So, for example, if the hierarchy is
1. Red
2. Bud
3. Hip
4. Sniper
5. Stuka
6. Smalls
then Smalls could challenge Stuka for the #5 spot so that he could move up the ladder and be moe assured of getting to play in scrims.

Thoughts?
