As the ship drew up to Zaxius, I contemplated how the furthest know planet from the center of the universe could have such a generic name, at least in terms of the 21st century sci-fi. I geuss by the time humans reached the 34th century and we could reach another solar system, the generic naming conventions of the media had disappeared. Hell the only reason I know of such a thing is because it’s my job to know. I am a media historian, tasked with the job of recording the creative outlets of every species in the known universe. Hell becoming one even meant all the poems, works of art, books and even video games had to be uploaded straight to my brain through a neural interface. Come to think of it, I was lucky to even survive that process. Many people have there brains literally explode after the procedure. God I feel bad for the Janitors who have to clean up that mess, but then again they are probably only janitors because they couldn’t pass basic brain initiation. I mean, you’d have to be a Genteromo to not pass such an easy test of your brains capacity to take in information. Hell at least Genteromo can’t take in the information due to a celestial event, which only killed the strongest of their species.
Anyway, I believe I have gone off on a tangent, what is really important is Zaxius. Zaxius is the furthest known planet from the center of the universe and some really weird stuff has been detected from the planet’s surface… RUINS! This suggests a previous life on the planet, but what is even more odd is the idea that the planet has no source of light or warmth. There’s no sun or any sign that a sun ever existed nearby, however the surface of the planet doesn’t appear to be frozen over. This is remarkable and of course, as standard safe territory exploration is required to have a media historian on the team, just in case any artefacts which show creativity of a species is found. This is why I am here.
