When a string of robberies lead Paradigm Intel agents to believe the next ‘hit’ will take place at a local bank, the group is sent out to stop and apprehend the perpetrators. Powered by MAPP, the robbers end up facing off against the agents.
The robbers draw connections to a local gang that has risen in power thanks to the sweep of MAPP being bestowed upon the world’s populace. The gang has used these to rise in power and numbers, now a rather dangerous adversary for the academy. When Paradigm intervenes on one of their ‘jobs,’ and with the academy no longer being affiliated with the government, the gang is quick to act, sending a small group of their users to infiltrate and assault the grounds, attempting to bully them into being left alone.
From there, it’s a battle for dominance. Paradigm agents search and use Intel to find the enemies base, while simultaneously dealing with other robberies, murders, and attacks. Is Paradigm a bad enough dude to shut these guys down permanently or will this gang become the underground authority of Chicago?
Tensions raise between the police department and the academy, the prior not keen on being overshadowed by groups of teens and young adults. It’s even possible that some bitter officers offer information to these gangs as a heads up. How does Paradigm fair whenever their plans are already laid out before the enemy? Can they find the mole and stop him?
The gang has risen to power thanks to MAPP. When they start butting heads with Paradigm, there would be missions for stopping an assault, investigating known enemy hideouts for information, and attacking known points of power of the gang to weaken them.
The police force wouldn’t have a major role, but one officer would, be feeding information to the gang and there would be clues left behind as to who did it and why.
It would eventually culminate to finding and taking down the main headquarters for the gang and either apprehending them, or driving them out of Chicago, depending on how things play out.
