Here are the highlights from the city liaison meeting: We were offered a proposal by City Hall. We are not agreeing to the proposal and we will draft the counter-proposal with the support of the community. There will be a meeting at 5pm today to discuss both the proposal and counter-proposal, as well as the history of the meetings leading up to this. The liaisons are disclosing fully that they do not represent Occupy L.A., they are merely messengers and can't make a decision on the part of the movement as a whole. The city liaisons are also fully aware that they will screw themselves and the rest of the committee if they propose or agree to anything that has not come through the General Assembly.

Can you scan and e-mail a copy of this proposal?
-------------------------
Is this an open meeting?
And can you provide a copy of the proposal?
And how will you discuss the counter proposal with the community?
Is the city liaison committee open to anyone who wants to join?
-------------------------
We need a copy of this proposal and to be in a position to discuss and propose a counter. Does anyone on site at Occupy LA have a copy of the proposal?
-------------------------
The proposal was just issued by the city an hour ago. Hang in there.
