I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Alexandru Godoroja who
is applying for scholarship funds for graduate studies.
I have known Alex since he came to Maryville College in the fall of 2010 and enrolled
in my Organizational Behavior (Bus 305) course. Alex was an excellent student. All
work submitted to me was of the highest quality culminating in an “A” in the course. In
classroom discussions, he offered insightful questions and thoughtful responses. Through
his case submissions, Alex demonstrated great analytical skill with an ability to recognize
underlying problems beyond mere symptoms found on the surface. His verbal and written
skills are also strong. Additionally, Alex collaborates well with others as demonstrated
through a group project in which Alex earned a high assessment from his colleagues.
This ability is not surprising as Alex has a pleasant personality and is a pleasure with
whom to work. I have been teaching for ten years with the vast majority of courses on
the junior/senior level. Alex ranks high among all students with whom I have had the
pleasure of teaching.
Alex also has experience outside of the classroom which serves to enhance his graduate
study. While at Maryville College, Alex served as an intern for the Graphic Design Lab
in the Division of Fine Arts. In this position, Alex served as a liaison between designers
and clients as well as handled bookkeeping and management of files. Conversations with
his supervisor only elicited positive comments, particularly concerning his organizational
skills and self-direction. These skills will serve him well as he furthers his education.
Therefore, I can highly recommend Alexandru Godoroja as a candidate for your
scholarship. If I can supply any additional information for you concerning Alex,
please feel free to contact me in the U.S. at 865- 981- 8047 or via email at jenifer.gre
