Head Cook, Camp Chicagami
I worked as a cook preparing nutritious meals three times a day for 250 children and
other employees. I was in charge of ordering food and making sure we had enough
supplies, and I took care of the clean up and made sure we passed inspections.
The camp was a non profit organization and relied solely on donations and grants. I
was able to help children in need, and not only ensure the camp ran properly, but bond
with them and be a part of their lives.

Chisholm, Minnesota
Employee Help Desk, North West Airlines
My job was to assist co workers in reissuing tickets, overbooking flights, canceling
tickets, and recalculating fares on foreign hand written tickets as well as dealing with
many currencies and exchange rates and taxes. I would also partner with the fraud
department and prevent fraudulent charges for plane tickets and ensure customers
were protected. Last but not least, I helped customers with flights that were canceled
due to weather or operational troubles, and gave out credit vouchers for said flights. At
this job, I learned to be upbeat and professional even in stressful situations.

Disability Forms Clerk and Medical Records Clerk, Disability Specialist Inc
When I first started working at Disability Specialist, I was a forms clerk. This position
entailed completing Social Security Disability applications, appeals and hearing
requests. I also made
phone appointments with clients to complete all forms and updates required for their
SSI/RSDI claims.
I completed initial intakes with potential clients,
and created electronic files with a case management software program called Prevail.
Following intakes, I would schedule prospective clients to meet with our representatives
throughout the state of Minnesota as well as in small parts of the Dakotas and
Wisconsin. During my last two months working at Disability Specialist, I was promoted
to medical records clerk. The responsibilities of this position entailed requesting records
from medical facilities, county human service offices, MN Work Force Centers, etc. Upon
receipt of these records, I would sort them and submit them to the Office of Disability
Adjudication and Review via Electronic Records Express (ERE). At this job I was able to
demonstrate my abilities to maintain focus in a stressful environment, work
independently, as well as with team members, prioritize to make sure that important
deadlines were met, and treat each client on a case to case basis, realizing that each
person has their own specific set of needs.
I am a sincere, loyal and dedicated individual who has a great deal of ambition.
Although I have extensive experience in being a Disability Clerk, I love to learn, and am
always up to a challenge. I get along well with others, while also working efficiently on
my own. I am seeking a position where I can develop and excel while
giving my best to an employer.
