Web 2.0
Web 2.0 is a type of website, websites that are considered 2.0 are dynamic and changing and updating constantly instead of being static and always displaying the same content. Web 2.0 websites are normally more interactive then original web changes and will allow users to change them. An example of Web 2.0 would be WolframAlpha.com or Wikipedia.org.
Blog
A blog is a type of online journal, the creator can post information about their lives onto their blog for others to read. Some blogs have security so that only those allowed can see the blog but others will allow anyone to view them. The word blog is created from a combination of the words internet log.
Online Application
An Internet application can mean two different things, in one way it can mean small programs ran through the browser, these applications can be anything from games to file viewing.
The other meaning of Internet application would mean forms that are filled out over the Internet when applying for things such as website registration to a job.
Cloud Computing
Cloud computing is when a person connects to another computer over the internet and uses that computers resources to do whatever is required, this means that the local computer does not require as much fast speeds as the other computer does the work. However, cloud computing comes with problems such as others being able to access your data without you wanting them to.
