First of all--Rules:
1. Must be at least 17 years of age. No exceptions.
3. NO PvP against any other Faction.
About the Traders:
We are at the birth stage and looking for members, but only if you can meet the above criteria. We are a buy/sell only faction. We craft, mine, cook, .etc most every material and sell it to the general public. We will outfit other factions so they can raid other factions. We attempt to be a peaceful faction, but if you turn on us, we will fight back (Don't bite the hand that feeds you).
Positions:
We have many positions available, so most anyone can partake in the faction. We require you to do your job. We will pay everyone a fair share of profit. Overseers will take note how well you do your job and I will share the profit accordingly. The more successful you do, the more coins or gold you receive. If I sense any corruption within our system, you will be permanently banned from the faction. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Here are the available positions:
Fighter
Lumberjack
Forester
Miner
Crafter
Merchant
Runner
Farmer
Cook
Builder
Plotter
Overseer
Fighters
These are the people who defend the faction. We do not pull an offensive attack unless we are provoked. Your goal is to protect workers from hostile enemies. If you are attack outside of these circumstances, you will be demoted/kicked. These slots are the first and last to be filled. We need fighters at the start to defend our workers. Once we fill up or working positions, we will dump a majority of applicants to fighters.
Lumberjacks
Your job is to cut down trees on predesignated lands. You fill up your inventory and get it moved to a crafting station.
Foresters
You are to plant saplings in land that the trading faction owns. You will make sure that they grow to full trees for lumberjacks to chop down. You will collect saplings from fallen trees and plant them. You do nothing more, and nothing less.
Miners
A quite obvious job, these people mine... and mine... and mine. When your inventory is full, dump your belongings to the nearest chest area for crafters to craft into materials/objects. Coal will mostly go to cooks. Your overseer will tell you how much coal will go to cooks and how much will go to crafters. Gold is never used for crafting, only for selling and buying. If you find gold, give it to the nearest runner/trading station.
Crafters
Like the miners, your only job is to do one thing: Craft. Either an overseer or I will tell you what object(s) to craft. After your inventory is full, transfer your inventory to the nearest runner/trading station for merchants to sell or builders to build with.
Merchants
You will sell the goods you receive from runners or chests in the trading station. You are to sell as much as you can for any profit. You can either sell/trade at any predesignated kiosk (reccomended), but you are also free to go to another faction and personally sell to them under the watch of an overseer.
Runners
You take items from workers and run them to stations for others to work with. For example: If a miner needs to dump his inventory and asks you to run it for him, you take his entire mined inventory and run it to the nearest crafting station for crafting. You might have to run the crafter's inventory to a trading station. You will run his entire crafted inventory to a merchant for him to sell. You will then take his earnings for the day and run them to the treasury. If certain workers expect gold for their payment, you will run gold from the treasury to the workers for payment. It is an endless cycle and the backbone of the economic structure heavily relies on you (you will be paid well).
Farmers
You will farm on predesignated lands. You have the duty to collect grown crops and to slaughter animals on our lands. Your job is no more tedious than that. You fill up your inventory and give it to the nearest runner or cook.
Cooks
Your job is to cook the materials from farmers. Your food will feed our faction first, and then we will sell surplus goods at healing stations.
Builders
You build things. You will build all of the different buildings we need to grow our presence in the land. You will build the crafting stations, trading kiosks, kitchens, health stations, .etc. You will build the roads to connect our network of services. These roads will also be taken by the runners. You will place signs and street lights along these roads for ease of use.
Plotters
This position will be filled the absolute very first. You will claim land under the name of the Trader faction for us to use. We will use this land to build upon. Once the initial phase of plotting is finished, you will be assigned to the position you applied for, unless you applied to be a plotter, in which, you will stay a plotter.
Overseers
At the lowest level, you will watch over a small company of workers (3-4), like a few miners, while doing some of the same work yourself. You will mostly be making sure they do their job. After a while, if you provide good work and show good leadership, you will be promoted to major overseer, who manages all overseers of that working group, like the overseer of all mining overseers. Someone from your original company will take over for you. The next promotion is the chief overseer, which oversees all of the major overseers. You will report directly to mods. The only thing to be promoted to after that is a moderator within the faction, but there will only be 2-3 of these available. They report directly to me.
Our Goal:
We want to make this server feel connected. We want other factions to be able to know someone is on their side and wants them to succeed as well. We want to have a global trading company who can help set standards and promote trading/selling.
