Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

I have been despondent and my faith had grown weak, but through God's mercy and love for all, he has allowed me to find these videos from which my soul has been greatly comforted and my faith renewed. It would be unfair not to share these treasures that Our Lord has sent to all so that we may all believe.

The set of first videos (in Russian with English subtitles) is from the Pskov-Caves monastery in Pskov, Russia. The video is from 1984 during the communist times. Read attentively as the subtitles are a bit confusing, and behold at the angels that dwelt there just only 20 years ago!

Pskov-Caves Documentary
Part 1/2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySj8Mw1BkqU
Part 2/2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WrKCPY181CY

Pskov-Caves Dismissal Hymn
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwQcloavwPI

-----

The second set of videos is of the Holy Snakes. On an island in Greece, snakes appear during the Dormition of the Theotokos and venerate all of the icons of Our Mother of God and crawl around the church. People touch and play with the snakes, which are normally violent. After the service, the snakes become violent again and crawl away into the wilderness until the next year. They are never to be seen until the next Dormition of the Theotokos. This miracle has been happening for hundreds of years.

Holy Snakes
Part 1/2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQ6getCfxBE
Part 2/2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVQYRZbbg7s

---

How wondrous are Thy works, O Lord.
