Description: Belenos, Master of Strength, represents/is incarnate of beauty, the arts, and medicine. A bright god in a darkened world, he dispels (brightens?) the evil shadows to guide humanity.
Belenos changes he appearance often. Sometimes young and beautiful, he is the consummate artist. Sometimes, ancient, he is the doctor and the wise man. Sometimes he appears as a young woman and inspires love. Finally, he will sometimes appear in a humanoid form made up of soft, comforting light. It is often in this form that he will accompany men who died non-violent deaths towards towards the afterlife, directly to the sanctuary of Sukellos where they will be judged.
Belenos is one of the most loved of the Nemetondevos. He is one of the rare peaceful gods of this pantheon. Belenos is found where people suffer. Whether people require care or comfort, he is always there to promote(?) courage and return hope to mankind. He encourages creative expression and the arts. It is thanks to him that the little of Gaulish culture that still survives was able to weather the long ages. He is also largely responsible for the truce between the Dodekatheon and the Nemtondevos. He has been a doctor, sculptor, jeweller, fashion model, actor, director and singer. He has appeared as both a man and a woman, in his/her early thirties and quite beautiful. Always dressed superbly despite his humble attitude, Belenos (or Belisama in his feminine form) is the perfect image of beauty, bounty, and love between men. As a doctor, he is known for having practiced the world over, working in great humanitarian efforts.
The scions of Belenos share his love of peace, but the situation with the Titans sometimes demands desperate measures. Using their talent for healing the evil done by the (engeances???), these Scions are capable of great acts of violence if need be, and they will not feel remorse...
