In this essay, I will analyze the role of Christian leaders and their efforts in transmitting their faith, as well as describing where their efforts are limited for the uninfluenced spiritual development of the child. One of the subjects that is regarded as very important for a Christian leader or parent--and in many cases is prioritized by them--is how completely the values and beliefs of Christianity are transmitted. In order to do this effectively, those Christian guides typically encourage continuous and thorough study of the Bible. Regular church attendance and prayer sessions are also vital to fostering continued belief.

Church leaders invite younger Christians to declare their faith again once they reach the age that they feel the individual is responsible and intelligent enough to make their own choices (known as being baptized in the Pentecostal faith), and to encourage marriage within the same faith. The young Christian's view of the religion will affect how the tenets of that religion will be transmitted to future generations. The long lasting effect of properly indoctrinating young people in Christianity is why special attention is committed into doing so. Though society is becoming increasingly secular, religion still continues to be a big influence in the homes of parents currently raising their children.
