In their article, Hanna F. Maoh, Manolis Koronios, and Pavlos S. Kanaroglou display the effects and explore the roots of the investing techniques used over a period of time within what is known to be the city of Hamilton, Ontario. The authors communicate their ideas through three basic themes which are the coming together of Hamilton’s various areas, followed by the formation of new centers of business and spatial nuclei within the bounds of these regions, and finally the authors outline the economic growth and connectivity of the city with the aforementioned spatial phenomenon considered. The authors conclude that this technique of land speculation and development through calculations and leapfrog-like techniques while having created a multinuclear city, have made the city and its various centers into healthy business areas with positive growth projected for future development.
