Dear ..
s you might have mentioned we got a huge problem tonight with both
- all game servers down
- game panel down
The reason is very simple. Someone from the UK hijacked an supporters account. All supporters can create, modify and delete servers. The funny guy deleted all customer servers.
Therefore we have restored our game panels database and data with a backup from yesterday and we are currently restoring all user accounts on the servers.
The good thing:
- All servers will be up soon
- We know the reason of this problem and implementing an additional security layer
- We know the IP address and Hostname of the attacker
The bad thing:
- All servers will be restored with the default configuration and custom data is lost. As we do not backup any custom files you have to restore them by yourself.
