Description:
Sysspoof originally reported a problem running CX Pro. This original problem occurred on a system with Gnome libs. I ran him thru the motions of testing with a KDE Live cd. Using that showed no problems running CX Pro or CXG. He kept the KDE Live installation(installing it to hard drive) and tested CX Pro successfully. Subsequently however he added Gnome apps. The system began crashing CX Pro again.
Sysspoof needs Eclipse and some other gnome apps in order to do his work. Unfortunately after installing those, he found that starting the "Install Program" dialogue resulted in a segfault.
To summerize:
1) KDE Only, No problems
2) KDE + Gnome, Segfaults.
My impression is that this is a Gnome problem and not a Codeweavers problem. CX is not alone in this, it is also occurring in other venues.
