Saga of the Stars
They came in a brilliant flash of blinding white light in the sky, their cylindrical ships came from the light and they landed in cities around the world. They called themselves the Nodetors, and they brought with them their knowledge of technology and the universe. We learned to build new weapons, new ships, new ways to heal the sick and injured, and we also learned about the wormhole network, and how to build the gates required for individual travel among planets.
The first place the Nodetors took us was to their homeworld of Node Prime. Our people were introduced to many new alien species, and given an opportunity to learn about them and their cultures. We were also warned about several species of hostile aliens, especially a mysterious race known only as the Warp Lurkers. Their homeworld of Cygni has been avoided by all known cultures, and they rarely venture out of their star system.
Now we are being allowed to travel through the wormhole network on our own. Wormhole points are public access and are free for everyone to use. Some wormhole points have not been activated yet, and will be locked. When new wormholes are activated a notice will be posted on the board in the Intergalactic Labs Lobby.
