1. List the names, classes, and armory links of all level 85 alts:
N/A
2. What is your main raiding spec and and how extensive is your experience playing it? How familiar and comfortable are you with playing your off specs in a raid environment?
My main raiding spec, fury, is my baby. I love it, I nurture it, I read all about it in any articles I can get my hands on that tell me more about it. I absolutely love it and would have it no other way, which is probably why I have difficulty leveling of my other toons up any higher than 70. I could list off staccato responses on rotation, speccing, talent, glyphs, etc. The benefits of hit vs. haste (and the resulting arguments on Elistist Jerks) as well as a few other things. So I'd say I'm extremely comfortable with it.
With the drop in the CD on whirlwind I find the need for arms in raids less necessary - I tried it a few times but it felt a little too ham fisted for my liking.
Admittedly, I haven't raided as a prot warrior this expansion thus far. I still read on it occasionally for when I am specced into it (and have a fairly standard gear set for it), understand the rotation and such, but I have no real experience. This isn't to say that I'm not willing to do it when necessary, however. Give me a few MDs and (hopefully) I should be good to go.
3. Previous guilds, reason(s) for leaving, and raiding experience in Vanilla, TBC, WotLK, Cataclysm?
I attempted to start "serious" raiding on my old server, Eldre'thalas, but my chances were very limited. Aside from the general lack of decent guilds, most of the only good ones simply didn't have any room for me. "Fallen Guardians" was my first raiding guild if any sort that I got into through a friend connection. We made it into the plague wing of ICC in 10 man and downed Rotface and Festergut. With Basic Combat Training for the army looming ever closer, I bid my farewell and switched to the horde in a rush against time to down the Lich King. In "Horde Regime" I got halfway through ICC in 25 man and up to the Lich King in 10 at about 10% buff. I was desperate to down him but unfortunately my time was up and I went off to BCT. When I came back, the buff was at 30%, Ruby Sanctum had come out, and my guild had fallen apart. In great sadness, I downed the Lich King in a pug a few days later. I swore up and down I would change things for Cataclysm.
Sometime last December I app'd into a 25 man guild that had been 11/12 HM in ICC 25 called "Ascension of the Phoenix." Unfortunately, without my knowledge, the guild right before I joined had faced a split. 10 of their members formed a new 10 man guild, and 10 others formed their own group within AotP. When it came time to raid Cataclysm content, I was among an almost entirely new set of raiders. In February I was fed up with being stuck 6/12 in normal and apped to Colossus on Greymane. It was a fantastic upgrade from anything I had ever experienced. Unfortunately, things went downhill in this guild as well. The lack of people showing up on raid nights resulting in general confusion among the online officers and wiping on the same boss that should be on farm have had its toll. Instead of progression typically just farmed the same content over and over and maybe face progression content a few hours a week and leave it at that. This wasn't enough for me, so I applied to Play, who was 10/13 HM at the time I applied.
Play is a fantastic guild. All the guys and gals in it are wonderful people and I wish with all my heart I could stay. In the short span of just a few months I went from a mediocre casual progression guild to one that excels like nothing I've ever seen. Unfortunately, with the guild having nearly 15 people sitting on the bench every night (giving us damn near a full 40 man raid) people have to go. I had a heart to heart with the GM who commended me on my personality, spirit, and my ability to play, but there just isn't room for me, and there really wasn't when I joined (hence why I'm not in most of the fights in Play's logs). Even the other fury warrior who recently made member I was told is probably getting dropped as well. My GM is dedicated to helping me find a new home for me and this was my first pick.
4. Can you provide any recent WoL, WMO, or similar links that would demonstrate your performance potential?
Pre-patch 4.1
Guild first H Magmaw, still in Titan's Grip spec.

H Conclave

For a few weeks I was experimenting with a haste heavy build per some arguments on EJ when 4.1 hit. However, I realized hit was the way to go and made the switch since the H Conclave kill. We were also being really silly and goofing around on the farm bosses this week (I never saw much progression in Play) so my raids were limited to dying early because someone would pull and I'd die to aggro without doing much or some rubbish. My GM can confirm this, so hopefully that doesn't sound like too much of a terrible crutch. ><
5. What resources do you use, outside of WoW itself, to remain up-to-date on game-play and strategy?
Elitist Jerks, first and foremost. When it comes to raids themselves, I used to intensely study TankSpot videos, but they appear to have fallen behind L2R as of late, so I've been watching them more. I also read MMO-Champs every day and browse the forums frequently to see what people are saying about the latest fight mechanics and such.
6. What are your available playtimes? Are you able to meet at least 80% of our raids scheduled at 7PM form up to 11:30PM CST Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday?
If I'm not at work I'm usually online, no joke. The only times I ever have to miss a raid is if something strange comes up at work, which usually only happens on the weekend. This includes random details / night guard duties, etc. But they are far and few between and in the past 4 or so months I've only had a handful of details that have stopped me from raiding (an example being we had flights come in from Afghanistan and I had to be there to deal with deployment packets and such). And when I do have details most of the time I'm warned a month in advance.
7. Are you a keyboard turner, a clicker, or some hybrid of both?
Heh. I'm surprised I don't see this question on more apps. Never you folks worry, I know how to turn with my mouse and have proper keybinds!
8. What is at least one aspect of your life that might interfere with our raid schedule, and how often would it interfere?
Being in the army is all. But I don't believe it will be much of a problem. I know plenty of folks who are in much higher positions than I that have been 13/13 for a fair bit now!
9. Do you PvP? Please include your Arena and Rated BG experience if applicable.
I really only started to PvP when I started hearing about how stellar fury was last patch in lower ranking arenas and BGs. Since the 50% PvP nerf to colossus smash I have since switched to arms for my PvP spec and I'm learning new things about it every day! My arena experience is limited (only reaching 1550 in 2s and 3s) as is my Rated BG experience, but that certainly doesn't mean that I'm not interested. Just need to find the right partners.
10. How did you hear about Edge? Do you know anyone in Edge with whom we could discuss your application?
I talked to Wazuki briefly in-game. Heard about it from my current GM, jumpingbear.
11. How stable and reliable is your connection? How is your FPS during graphical intense fights?
My connection drops only on the rarest of occasions and my FPS is usually 55-60, even during intense fights.
12. Is there any additional information not covered in our application questions that you would like to share?
I am currently 9/13 in content but once my guild downs H AC I was told by my GM they would make room for me to get in at least 12/13 by the time I leave (if that is an issue).
If there are absolutely any questions at all, please feel free to contact me through any means. Even if I do get denied from Edge, I humbly request someone let me know the things that I can improve on, no matter what it is. Thanks for your time and I wish all of you the best of luck in 4.2, whether or not I am able to join you all in your quest. :)
