Empire deletion:
Today an empire was deleted for having an inappropriate name. All parts of Neveron, be it chat, mail, forums, empire or unit names, must be G-rated. Inappropriate names will result in fines or potentially deletions. Please note that even if you create a “dummy” account for these names, it is not difficult to trace it back to your main account.
For those unaware of what a G-rating implies, it should be something that would be acceptable to say to someone of any age, be they eight or eighty – politically correct, nothing explicit or euphemistic.
Server time
I would like to clarify that all times mentioned on the updates or login page are on server time, which is the Eastern United States timezone. Please note that daylight savings time is followed in this timezone, and the servers adjust for this automatically. If your timezone does not change the clocks at the same time as the United States, you may need to adjust your time offset to get ingame times, such as cease fire expirations, correct. You can adjust your time offset via the empire settings page.
Research acceleration
As you will likely have noticed, research has been proceeding at triple speed for the past several months. This was set up by Wayward Son, presumably to make up for some server downtime. As we have been making progress in stabilising the server connections, and normal daily updates are now running consistently, research speed has been reduced to double. As yet there is no set date for returning to normal research speed.
