We feel that over all our Android app was more successful than was expected, considering the level of ability in the group, however it is unfortunate that we ran out of time as there was much more that could be done with it.
While the app itself suffers from a few minor bugs, it is fast and responsive due to the fact that it uses multiple threads to gather information from the server. It also makes use of the middleware's authentication requirements and provides users with a log in method.
The application was designed and tested for a number of different devices and was designed in such a way that it would be compatible with most Android phones on the market today. This is down to its use of declarative styling that takes into account the phone's current theme.
Despite thoughout testing, the app occasionally suffers from some known bugs, which if we had more time, we would have fixed to create a solid and reliable application. These bugs have been tracked on the internet at https://github.com/PRCSC/android/issues. Managing the bug list in such a way has made it much easier to keep track of problems with the application and to make sure that all of the required functionality is implemented.
Something that could be improved in future versions is error handling and validation, however overall we think that our app is very functional and responsive and shows a lot of promise for future versions
