Excellent Swordsman - Don Diego de la Vega is certifiably the best swordsman in the region he hails from. Even though he is known as a bumbling coward who wouldn't even be able to beat Mendoza, his alter ego of Zorro truly displays his skill.
Acrobatics - Diego is an excellent acrobat, with skills surpassing many a cat burglar. Like his swordsmanship, he rarely displays this skill when he isn't in disguise.
Rapier Wit - Unlike most of his contemporaries, Diego is graced with a sharp sense of wit and humor.
Equipment - Zorro's outfit consists of more than just clothes. One can be creative with a cape, and the hat is weighted so it can be thrown. Additionally, his boots have a slot to hide a dagger in, and there usually is one in there.
Zorro's Cave - There is a cave reachable from behind a hidden door in the De la Vega mansion. In this cave, Zorro stores his costume and it is from where he arrives in the world.
Tornado - Zorro's jet black horse, one of the more intelligent horses around. Hidden in the cave like most of Zorro's possessions, he is nonetheless fed well. The horse is capable of fighting on his own, to some degree, and responds to Zorro's trademark whistle to call him over.
Bernardo - A servant, and spy. The only person to know Diego to be Zorro. He is mute, and thought by most people to be deaf.
