The expansions in technologies from ww1 to ww2 were quite great. These innovations gave even more killing power to armies and went further to destroy cities and civilians.
Submarines, aircraft, radar, rockets, and atomic bombs!!
Submarines aside from crew habitability improvements, better radios, and greater range with improved battery technology and better, more efficient diesels engines, the biggest advances between the two wars were the snorkel, radar, and sonar.
Submarines were used to destroy merchant ships entering Britain as a way of cutting off food and supplies.
Other duties included
•	Surveillance and information gathering
•	Communication of data
•	Landing of special operations forces
•	Attack of land targets
•	Protection of task forces and merchant shipping
•	Denial of sea areas to an enemy
Airplanes from ww1 to ww2 changed very much and both wars acted as a great time for aircraft development. In ww1 warplanes were used for surveillance or spying on the enemy not actual air fights. Planes technology expanded from biplanes to monoplanes. Planes became more aerodynamic and more powerful; they went from traveling around 80kmh to speeds of 800kmh. In ww1 civilians were not a target but ww2 millions of civilians were killed. Some of the most recognizable planes were the American p51 mustang and b-17 British spitfire and Lancaster and the German Messerschmitt Henkel he 111.

Penicillin was created in 1929 by a British scientist, Alexander Fleming it contributed to a 95 per cent recovery rate for wounded allied soldiers.
