really paying much attention to it, humming along with it

10:45 * TA is wearing her more typical black T-shirt and jeans when she enters the common room, a notebook and DVD case tucked under her arm.
She makes her presence known by wandering up behind Priscilla and flicking the back of her head.
10:47 * Priscilla rubs her head as she's flicked, before peering back "Oww....oh, I remember you from the caf...TA?" she tilts her head,
before nodding slightly "Yeah, you're, like, pretty smart!" she nods in acknowledgement of her memory
10:54 < TA> "Hi Priscilla. What'cha reading?"
10:58 * Priscilla lifts the book up, showing the girl the cover of it. The Shadow over Innsmouth, by HP Lovecraft, as she dog ears a page and
shuts it "I'm just, like, kinda wasting time, really..." she sighs, and lays on her side on the couch, blowing a few strands of black
hair away from the front of her face
11:00 * TA moves around the couch and flops in a chair across from her, notebook and dvd in her lap. "Are you feeling okay now?"
11:03 * Priscilla nods, and kinda looks to the side "Yeah, that was my first, ya know, fight. I was expecting, more, umm...punching, I
guess..." she rubs her nose slightly, thinking "It was kinda fun, though! I mean, not that, like, I'm a bad person, just, you
know...." she looks over at her sheepishly "Do you, like, think I'm a bad person? I mean, umm, you were there"
11:05 < TA> "Missed the fight, though..." TA frowns. "That wasn't your fault."
11:09 * Priscilla sighs and nods "Umm, thanks! Yeah, I've had a weird day...it was my first kiss, but, umm, it was kinda with a girl who
didn't want it. And now I ask someone out and they aren't real..." she rubs her temples slightly, and shakes her head "I think, like,
I'm gonna be a nun from now on. Then I won't have to, umm, worry about this kinda thing"
11:11 < TA> "Huh, I was on the other side of that a few days ago - a girl kissed me out of nowhere. Still not sure what I think of it." She
sighs and leans back in the chair. "Don't let one mistake discourage you. Plenty of nice guys out there, if you look."

11:14 * Priscilla nods, and tilts her head, laying sprawled on the couch on her side "Yeah, I'm not, like, giving up or anything...just
complaining" she giggles a little bit "I'm way too young to, umm, give up for good"
11:15 * TA scratches her ear, a bit nervously. Last time she complimented a girl was when she got the unexpected kiss. "You're too good
looking to give up..." She says, trailing off.
11:17 * Priscilla tilts her head "Really? I'm not, like, an exemplar or anything...I'm weird and I, umm, like to look all goth because
otherwise I just, like, look boring and plain."
11:19 < TA> "Goth is a good look..." She smiles a bit. "I tried it once, but I'm lazy. So now I just wear black."

it...it's kinda, umm, alternative, you know, with the short hair and the glasses and all" she nods "it's a great, umm, look!
Although, it might be kinda the reason you got kissed. You know, umm, short hair and such"
11:25 * TA leans forward in the chair to listen closer. "You think that's why?" She taps the lip ring. "It's just... me."
11:28 * Priscilla nods "Oh yeah, it's, like, pretty awesome and all, just a little bit, umm, lesbians." she nods slightly, thinking "I thought
about doing, you know, shorter hair too, before, but I didn't, like, go through with it"
11:32 * TA scratches her head, still a little nervous. "Yeah... Should have expected it." She blinks. "Short hair's easier too. Parents
let me do what I want, really."
11:35 * Priscilla thinks for a moment, before nodding "Are you, like, busy, because, I have kinda an idea...what if I kinda, try and do
something with your hair? Not, like, cutting it or anything, but I've got a bunch of styling product...I bet I can get it really
awesome"
11:37 * TA flips the DVD case up. It's a film version of 'Macbeth'. "English homework," she explains. "Nothin' important, I was just gonna
watch it on the bigscreen." Her hair's only a few inches long, not really enough to do much with. Most of the time she gels it up
into spikes, but by the end of class, they're drooping a little.

11:46 * Priscilla nods "Hmmm..." she nods "Listen, if ya want, I can totes, like, try something with it, and you can tell me what ya think.
I'd just need to run up to grab a little of my hair stuff. I can even do it while ya watch the movie, if you, umm, want!" she giggles
slightly,and nodded. It'd been forever since she got to style someone elses hair, and she seems to really enjoy the idea
11:48 < TA> "Go for it. Not like you can mess it up, huh?" She pushes herself out of the chair, cracking the DVD case open. "Yeah, sounds
fun."
11:52 * Priscilla makes a happy squee, and nods "OK! I'll be back in a few minutes!" she runs out, darting out of the common room to get her
styling stuffin's from one of her many only partially unpacked boxes
11:55 * TA gets the DVD going while Priscilla's gone, and settles into a chair facing the screen, choosing one of the less expensive looking
chairs in case hair product drips or something. She's got a sheet of questions that go along with the video, so she looks over the
first page while the FBI warning plays.
11:59 * Priscilla arrives back, carrying a handful of various fancy looking bottles, putting them down on a nearby table, before nodding "Mmm,
OK...let me see, first I gotta make sure it's, like, nice and clean, so..." she grabs a spritzer bottle, filled with water, and
starts to use it to dampen and wetten TAs hair, rubbing it with a towel to clean out the gel after its dampened "Umm, so, what

12:01 < TA> "Something awful my parents thought were clever..." She squirms a little at the towel. "You know how it is."
12:04 * Priscilla finishes wetting down the girls hair, and finally, starts to somewhat towel dry it, getting it to a nice level of dampness,
before starting to work on it, smoothing it down all the way across,before starting to work on it, slowly, somewhat layering the bangs
12:04 < Priscilla> "Promise I won't tell?"
12:09 * TA shivers. "Thanatopsis. Andromeda. Please don't tell." She blinks at the bang treatment, her hair like a soft brush. "Wait,
that's one of the questions!" She starts scribbling notes.

12:13 * Priscilla nods slightly, grabbing another bottle and squeezing out a little bit of white product into her hand, before working it into
the girls hair, making it chaotic, unpredictable, but in a very stylish, layered way, almost like waves. She pays special attention
to the sides of the girls head, making them somewhat spiky, but pointing downwards
12:15 < TA> "Having fun back there?" She tries to keep a bit of the grouch, but it's nice having someone grooming her.
12:17 * Priscilla giggles, and nods "yeah, your hair's great to work with! I always kinda thought about being a stylist or something..." she's
finished the main shape of it, and now's mostly working on the details, grabbing a different bottle of clear product
12:20 < TA> "Oh, I never had an ambition... went to school cause I had nothing better to do." She scrawls another answer onto the sheet.
12:22 * Priscilla shrugs "Well, umm, it's just kinda a dream..." she frowns "no way would I be allowed to do, you know, stuff like that..."
she towels her hands clean, before warning TA "close your eyes for a sec" as she grabs her hair spray, and starts to spray it in place
12:23 * TA closes her eyes, a little puzzled. "No? What's stopping you?"
12:26 * Priscilla frowns "Papa. My job's gonna be to run the company, when he's retired, not like, you know, silly stuff like this.." she
finishes spraying it "You can open 'em, and umm, here, so you can see how it look" she hands her a mirror
12:27 * TA looks in the mirror critically. "That's not half bad!" Definitely more stylish than she ever bothers with. "No brothers or
sisters to run it?"
12:30 * Priscilla smiles a little bit at the approval, and sighs, plunking into the chair next to TA "Umm, no, I was his and moms only
child...I'm pretty sure, umm, I'm not what he wanted. You know, like, it'd be better if he had a normal, ya know, son, not a weird
daughter who's kinda gay"
12:31 < TA> "I wish I could disappoint my parents, but no... whatever I do, they're happy. Told 'em I had a girlfriend, once..." she shrugs.
"No big deal. Just use protection."
12:32 * Priscilla tilts her head "But, isn't that, like, good? That they're happy even if you don't do what they want?"
12:34 * TA frowns. "Don't wanna be good. Cool people all had troubled childhoods."
12:36 * Priscilla shakes her head "But you're already cool, so you don't need, like, that cool part of coolness"
12:39 < TA> "Well, I try," she allows. "But deep down, my heritage is white and nerdy."
12:42 * Priscilla shakes her head "I think you're punk rock, as like, heck!" she giggles, and watches the movie for a moment, before quickly
losing interest in it "have you had any, like, boyfriends?"
12:44 * TA nods slightly, not sure how gentle to be with the hairdo. "A few... there's a boy into me now, but I can't tell what his deal is."
12:45 < Priscilla> "oh, is he like, doing the hard to get thing? Or just being weird
12:46 < TA> "Came out of nowhere all romantic on me. It's a little different than being invited to a straightedge show."
12:49 * Priscilla thinks for a little bit, nodding "Yeah, he's probably, ya know, nervous, or doesn't know how to ask somebody out"

12:50 * TA shakes her head, again gently. "No, but we're supposed to have a fancy date soon. Gotta dig out my semi-formal stuff."
12:53 * Priscilla sighs slightly, hugging herself "That'd be, like, so awesome..." she leans back against the chair, before making a frownie
face "I kinda miss elementary school, I never had to you know, worry about looking for people to date, or stuff"
